Oncologische en functionele resultaten na introductie van robotchirurgie voor uitvoeren van radicale prostatectomie
Smet Emma, Peeters Alexander, 2023
This thesis investigates predictive factors for functional and oncological outcomes following robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP). Functional outcomes include erectile function, functional and full continence. Oncological outcomes are assessed through positive surgical margins, biochemical recurrence-free survival, metastasis-free survival and overall survival. Factors to be examined for their influence include age, risk group, prostate volume, mode of RP (Bocciardi vs. Vattikuti), nerve sparing (NS), bladder neck sparing (BNS), collar technique, prior BPH surgery, T stage, adjuvant radiotherapy, complications after surgery and surgeon experience.
